受付はどのようなかたちになりますか。 How can I use the machiya?
町屋金沢は原則として15時からご利用になれます。スタッフは常駐しておりませんので、ご到着の約1時間前までにご到着時間のご連絡をお願いいたします。当日は「菊乃や」にて、スタッフがお待ち申し上げております。鍵をお渡しするとともに、町屋の概要および使い方についてのご説明と、近隣の簡単なご案内をさせていただきます。
You can use it from 15:00 p.m. on your arrival day. Since there is no staff on duty, please inform us of your arrival time approximately one hour prior to your arrival. At your arrival time our staff will wait for you at Kikunoya to hand over the key. Then our staff will provide a brief explanation of the house and the facilities of Kikunoya. If you wish, our staff will provide a brief tour of the neighborhood.
予約確定後、利用人数が変わってしまいました。 Can we change our reservation if the number of people changes?
定員内の増減は承りますが、定員を超える変更についてはお受けできない場合もございます。ご利用人数が変更になった場合はできるだけ早くご連絡くださいますようお願いいたします。
You can change the number of people from 2 to 5. However, we cannot accept more than 5. If the number changes, please contact us as soon as possible.
子どもの宿泊はできますか。 Can we stay with children?
菊乃やは伝統的なお茶や建築を活かした作りになっております。 そのため現代建築に比べますと、階段の傾斜が急になっており、二階坪庭に面した手すりにも十分な高さがございません。
特に小さなお子様連れのお客様には、保護者の十分な監督の下、ご滞在頂きますようお願いしております。 ご不便をおかけしますが、ご理解のほどよろしくお願い申し上げます。
Kikunoya is traditional ochaya building. It has steeper stairways and lower prevention fences than modern building.
Please stay under the sufficient supervision of guardian.
未成年だけで町屋金沢を利用することはできますか。 Do you have minimum age requirements?
未成年の方のみの御利用はお断りさせていただきます。
As a general rule, if everyone in the group is all under 20, you cannot make a reservation.
ペットも一緒に町屋金沢を利用することはできますか。 Can I bring my pets?
申しわけありませんが、ペットをお連れになってのご利用はお受けいたしておりません。
町屋には文化遺産的側面があり、保護の面からご理解を賜りますようお願い申し上げます。
Sorry, pets are not allowed at the Machiya for protection of the building.
食事はどのようになっていますか。 Do you have any suggestions for meals?
町屋金沢では原則として、朝食のみご用意いたします。（ご希望に応じて、追加代金にて）
なお、夕食のサービスはついておりません。金沢には目にも美しい加賀料理や新鮮な魚介類を使った料理を供する料亭や割烹はもちろん、数多くのお食事どころやレストランがあります。金沢ならではの美味をお楽しみいただければと思います。ご要望があれば、ご紹介・ご予約も承ります。
また、茶屋でのお座敷遊びのときはお料理は仕出しを取るのが慣わしでした。『町屋金沢』周辺には仕出しを行っている料亭や割烹がありますので、仕出しを取って町屋でお食事なさるのも趣があるのではないでしょうか。ご要望があれば、手配を承ります。
徒歩10分ほどの距離に市民の台所として知られる近江町市場があり、近隣にも鮮魚、青果の店舗があります。町屋の台所にはガスクッカーを設置し、簡単な調理器具が揃っておりますので、自炊も可能です。
朝食は、近隣のコンビニなどでお好みのものをご調達、あるいは自炊し、町屋内で召し上がっていただくこともできますし、朝から開いているベーカリーやお食事どころをご利用されてもよいと思います。各所のご案内などはお気軽にお申しつけください。
お正月に御利用の方には、金沢のおせち料理の事前予約をおすすめします。
There are many good restaurants and bars walking distance. We can make a reservation at your request.
If you want to have a dinner at Machiya, catering services are available from restaurants in Kazue-machi. Please feel free to let us know.
Or you can cook in the kitchen of Machiya with fresh fish and vegetables from Omicho Market called Civil Kitchen which is about a 10 minute walk.
You will experience the exquisite flavors of Kanazawa’s fresh and delicious food there.
If you stay on New Year’s Day, we recommend you order Osechi, New Year dishes.
近くにコンビニや食料品、生活雑貨のお店はありますか。 Are there any convenience stores, food shops, or department stores nearby?
近くにコンビニや食料品店がございます。徒歩10分ほどの距離にある近江町市場や、百貨店もご利用いただけます。
また、町屋の台所には冷蔵庫を設置しております。何も入っておりませんので、自由にお使いください。尚、ご滞在中は、お客様の責任によって食品の管理をお願い申し上げます。御利用後につきましては、当方にて処分させていただきますのでご了承ください。
There are convenience stores and food shops near Kikunoya. In ten minutes’ walk, there is a department store.
Please feel free to use the refrigerator in the kitchen. During your stay you are in charge of your food. After you leave, we will dispose of any leftovers.
お風呂はありますか。 Do you have a bathtub?
町屋にはお風呂がございます。
また、徒歩圏内に2軒の銭湯がございます。近所の人が集う銭湯で、町屋暮らしの気分を味わってみるのはいかがでしょうか。各所のご案内はお気軽にお申しつけください。
Yes, you can enjoy a Japanese-style bath in Machiya.
Or you can also enjoy public baths. There are two nearby public baths in walking distance, which neighbors use. You can enjoy everyday life there. Please ask us about the details.
生活に必要な家具や備品、アメニティグッズはありますか。 Are there daily amenities in Machiya?
お客様が快適な時間をお過ごしいただけるよう、必要な家具類、電化製品(ドライヤー、電子オーブンレンジ、コーヒーマシン、湯わかしポット等)、寝具などをご用意いたしております。浴衣、丹前、バスタオル、ハンドタオル、フェイスタオル、石けん、シャンプー、リンス等もご用意しております。またコーヒー豆と加賀棒茶もご用意しております。金沢での暮らしを楽しんでいただくために、お茶の道具・漆器のお膳・筆と硯・裁縫道具・和傘も揃えました。

We provide comfortable furnishings, electrical appliances, a dryer, a microwave oven, a coffee maker, a teakettle and bedclothes. To make your stay more enjoyable, we also provide coffee beans and kaga bocha, yukata, bath towels, hand towels, face towel, body scrub towel, soap, shampoo and rinse, toothbrush, tooth paste, shaver, tea-making utencils, lacquer wares, calligraphy brushes and ink stone, and a sewing set.
We also provide toiletaried for the bath. You can check the list of amenities here.
町屋の中で、インターネットは使えますか。 Can we use the Internet?
光回線による無料Wi-Fiをご利用頂けます。
We have high-speed wireless internet access at the machiya.
長期利用の場合、町屋のお掃除や使ったタオル等のかたづけはどうなりますか。 Who clean the house during longer stay?
清掃は当社スタッフが行います。毎日11時から1時間ほどを清掃時間とし、スタッフが出入りいたしますのでご承知おきください。スケジュール等によって不都合がある場合はお知らせください。また、ご使用になられたタオルは洗面室にあるランドリーボックスにお入れください。
Our staff cleans the house for about 60 minutes from 11:00 a.m. every morning. Please put any used towels into the laundry box. If this schedule is not suitable for you, please let us know.
滞在している町屋の中で、喫煙はできますか。 Can we smoke in Machiya?
まことに恐縮ですが、防災の都合上、町屋内（敷地内）は禁煙となっております。ご理解を賜りますようお願い申し上げます。
Smoking is not allowed here for protection of the building and fire prevention.
荷物を宅配便で送ることはできますか。 Can we send our luggage via delivery service?
事前にメールまたはお電話にて、宅配便で送る旨をお知らせください。当社事務所にて受け取り、お客様のご到着までお預かりいたします。ただし、生鮮食料品等、保存のむずかしい品物はお預かりできませんので、あらかじめご了承ください。
Yes, you can. Please let us know and send your luggage to our office, we will keep it and bring it to Machiya upon your arrival. However, we cannot accept perishabele foods. Please let us know beforehand.
車で行こうと思いますが、駐車スペースはありますか。また、駐車料金は必要ですか。 Is parking available? Is there a fee?
滞在時間内にご利用いただける有料の駐車場が1台分ございます。駐車代金として1泊あたり2000円(税込)を申し受けます。お車でお越しの際は事前にご連絡ください。
Yes, there is a parking space nearby. The fee is 1,000 yen (tax included) per night. If you come by car, please let us know in advance.
町屋金沢に門限はありますか。 Do you have a curfew?
原則として、門限はございません。金沢の夜をご堪能いただければと思います。
No. Please enjoy lots of lovely time in Kanazawa. But please be considerate of our neighbors during late hours.
夜遅くまで騒いでもよいですか。 Can we have parties late into the night at the Machiya?
常識ある大人の対応をお願い申し上げます。『町屋金沢』のある一帯は狭い路地に面して一般の民家も軒を連ねております。場合によっては、お隣やお向かいのしゃべり声や物音を間近に感じることがあります。逆に『町屋金沢』からの物音が伝わることもあります。ご近所の気配を感じ取れることが町屋暮らしの魅力につながっていることをご理解いただき、ご滞在中は、お互いを気遣う心も町屋のよさの一つとしてお楽しみいただければ幸いに存じます。
なお、常軌を逸した行ないがあった場合、ご退去いただくこともあります。その場合は、ご利用料金はご返却できませんのでご了承ください。
You are not supposed to use the Machiya for parties late into the night. The Machiya and nearby area is on the narrow street and some neighboring houses are private residences. Please don’t disturb the neighbors with loud and voices or music. If we receive noise complaints, we reserve the right to ask you to leave without refund. While we wish you to enjoy yourself to the fullest we ask that you enjoy yourself maturely and responsibly.
